This document constitutes the basic framework of a Sustainability Management System (SMS) that can be adapted and developed to cover all management processes of our hotel and sets out its policies. This document is prepared for hotel management and staff.
The purpose of management systems is to ensure that businesses achieve success by managing their activities effectively. These systems can cover many different disciplines and help businesses improve their performance in areas such as quality, environment, occupational health and safety.
The foundation of our management system is based on risk analysis. Risk analysis is performed under the titles of environment, natural disasters, society, culture, economy, quality, human rights, health, and safety.
After risks are analyzed, we also have a crisis management policy and system that determines what to do if risks occur. The method of risk analysis and crisis management is included in the annex of this document.
SMS involves the implementation of certain policies by all employees in the fields of quality, economy, management, environment, culture, human rights, health and safety, setting targets, and continuously improving business management processes by monitoring whether targets are met.
Our hotel commits to fulfill the first stage obligations of the Turkey Sustainable Tourism Program regarding sustainability and continuous improvement of the sustainable management system to increase sustainability performance.
Due to the state of the sector, environmental, social, technological, economic and cultural risks, changes and updates arising from legislation, our management system is constantly reviewed, and systems and policies are updated if necessary.
Legal Compliance: Our hotel commits to comply with current laws, regulations, and international agreements, maintains an up-to-date list of these and informs its staff regularly about them.
Stakeholders and Communication: Our hotel gives accurate information to all sectors in promotion. It always uses real visual material in promotion. Our hotel has a transparent and realistic structure in terms of products and services in its website, social media accounts, and other communication channels. Accessibility: Our hotel commits to provide accessible tourism services for everyone within its means and informs its customers and stakeholders about the level of accessibility openly and accurately through its website. Procurement: Our purchasing policy includes policies for local, environmentally sensitive, fair trade-based, and efficient purchasing. Our hotel monitors our goods and service resources.
Cultural Sustainability Policy: Our hotel respects the intellectual property rights of the local people. Authentic elements of traditional and contemporary local culture are utilized in our kitchen, design, and decoration. Food Waste and Solid Waste: Our hotel has a Solid Waste Management Plan. The plan includes regular measurement of waste production, monitoring, reduction of waste, reuse, recycling, and waste disposal.
